    Description

    Circa 1920s-1930s Antique Cast Iron Table Base
    We purchased this table base in 1968 at the estate sale of a wealthy, well-know television personality in Greenwich, CT.  At purchase we were told it had been in the household over 60 years.  It's a beautifully crafted wonderful piece that has served us well over the years. We used it with a weighty thick glass table top (custom designed and installed by a glazier), which comfortably seated ten (10) adults.

    Holes to screw table top to base
    Height =  26-1/4"   -  Length (across top "X" bracket) = 24-1/2"
    Weight (based solely on best estimate) 150-175 LBS.
    Condition
    Item has some rust spots and loose paint but no deterioration to the iron...and, it has no repairs or other condition flaws of note.
