    RARE Herancourt Brewing Co Cincinnati Ohio Antique 12 Bottle Wood Crate Pre Pro
    From a recent local estate sale, one antique wooden 12 bottle crate from the Herancourt Brewing Company of Cincinnati Ohio, in business starting in the 1850’s, and out of business with the enactment of prohibition. Great lettering of company name to the sides, spread wing eagle on pedestal with hops/flowers surround on handle ends, and to top it off, to the upper right of handle cutout on each end is the circular stenciled logo of the United Order of Box Makers and Sawyers of America in outer circle, which surrounds inner circle with image of a box labeled Paper to front and Wood to top, surrounded by Union Made. I think it’s a very hard to find piece of Cincinnati brewing history dating to the 19th century. All as in photos and above condition description.
