*Antique French Gothic Cabinet Door and Frame in Solid Oak Wood Salvage

Description

This antique solid oak door set with frame is from France and parts of it date to the mid 1800's. The frame appears to of been constructed in the early 1900's. This piece was salvaged from a larger Gothic cabinet. The woodcarvings are very detailed and finished to a warm dark color. The door opens and closes as it should and stays shut with an elaborate latch. Overall this piece is in good condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Note that there is also old woodworm damage in the older panels (see photos). Dimensions: 39" wide, 21.75" tall and 4" thick.
