I have seen thousands of wood knobs, I can assure you this grain pattern is extremely rare!!
Fantastic grain & character
These have very rare beautiful growth rings & blackened highlights, you can find lots of maple/birch knobs, you will be hard pressed to find them with grain patterns like this
I love the circular & starburst grain patterns(these knobs were turned out of a branch which was cross-cut making the grain pattern is called "oyster" it is also used on very high end drawer fronts in slices...called "oyster veneering", there are very fine checking lines in the grain consistent with this style of grain, it is structurally solid as a rock
I restored them with many coats of hand rubbed varnish, showcasing the grain & protecting the wood
These have tiny character marks,fine scratches, nicks in the wood, they just add to the antique charm, the varnish is still silky smooth
I will include a mounting screw that works with a 3/4"thick project, if you need a screw for a different thickness project, just call or send a note upon checkout, I will happily include the screw for your thickness requirements
I guarantee you will not find knobs like this in any Big Box store, authentic antique knobs, hand rubbed finish, very rare grain patterns
